Not a product of my environment.
But born and raised in Anacostia, S.E, Ward 8 of Washington DC, to a single parent, sibling of 3, of whom I am the baby girl.
We were raised with a strict hand, where:
"Spare the rod spoil the child" was applied.
Raised in one of the toughest neighborhoods in the Washington DC area, witnessed killings, hustlers, drugs, gambling...etc.
However, that did not halt my education, learned from some of the most inspirational, hardworking teachers within the District of Columbia Public School system.
A proud Graduate of Howard D. Woodson Senior High School, with dreams and aspirations of being an Attorney., proceeded with that acclimation of being the first one in the family to graduate from college.
Then I realized I wasn't ready for college. Returned home and began working, then landed my dream job of working within the judicial system. Moreover, I did not realize how much my work and I would value each other through the years. Returned to become a student at the University of the District of Columbia (UDC), and earned an Associates Degree in Paralegal.
Now after witnessing the trials and tribulations that African American people go through within the judicial system; I have decided to start ARC, LLC.
ARC is here to Assist, Refer, and Consult.
